Slow Southern Style

This is only my second outfit post from Georgia, but it is also my last. I spent more days in Georgia than I got photographs for, but I suppose that is what you call "living in the moment."
I have to admit that summer clothes are my absolute favorite. At heart, I think I am a minimalist who just wants to throw on a dress and a pair of shoes and go. This dress is one of my favorite dresses for summer (as you can tell by looking through the archives and seeing how often I've worn it in past years!); it is super lightweight and loose fitting, but the structure keeps it from being dowdy and the pattern sets it apart. Warm-weather clothing certainly makes packing easy: a few pretty dresses and a couple of simple, mixable shoes and you're through.

You always look so lovely! I've been ooh-ing and aah-ing for months, but I've finally bitten the bullet and posted an outfit on my blog. You've given me the confidence!

  23. I am totally the same about minimalism.
I wish I could just throw a dress on and look effortlessly put together. It works sometimes, but not always.
You look lovely as usual though :]]]

  44. I love that flowered crown. It will make great props for your many wonderful photos spreads. I think you've become something of a mentor for me when it comes to accessorizing my head. I never do it.

Whenever I have free funds, it's always focused on the clothes as opposed to the accessories. As a result, I never have dynamic outfits as much as I could, because my accessory arsenal is much smaller than it should be.

I can't wait to see how you wear this!

    Thanks!
