Life Has No Rehearsals

A good amount of my chaperoning time involves waiting around while the students rehearse. Practices are much more monotoneous when you're not playing or participating. I used some down-time to slip into an empty dance studio next door and snap these pictures. I haven't really spent any time in a space like this since I gave up ballet. I wouldn't classify myself as nostalgic for my childhood, but I definitely get reflective when certain things trigger memories--I always feel so different and separate from who I was when I was younger. Anyway, it was very interesting to be back in that space again.
