Sunday Remix

This dress from Sheinside is quite similar to my favorite Triptych one. I mostly got it because if my other ever fails or falls apart then I'll have this one as backup! I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it this summer and I couldn't resist making a little remix out of it. Despite the fun cat face on the front, it is essentially a little black dress and can still be worn in a variety of different ways. My style right now seems to alternate between the first outfit with the thick belt and tall gladiator sandals and full vintage dresses in pastels--the silhouette doesn't change much but there's a totally different attitude with each look.

I must say that I really like your hair--and especially with this dress. Cute, Cute, Cute! I like the one with the saddle oxfords and blouse best.

Hi there- love the dress :)
Where did you find the black belt?

@Anonymous, I wear 2 belts in the remix--I think you mean the larger first one. It's from Modcloth, link here.

This dress is awesome! It definitely reminded me of your Triptych one, but that's fine because they're both such cool dresses. I love all the ways you've remixed this. It looks great with the button-down layered underneath and I love how edgy the outfit with your gladiator sandals is.

I love this dress! I'm a little nervous ordering from their site because I am seeing so many terrible reviews around google. What was your experience? Everybody seems to be complaining about their customer service (awful), speed of shipment (slow), and quality (bad). I really want to order some things because everything looks so cute and cheap! Can you help?

@missmichellini, this dress is a light cotton-feeling stretchy fabric. I don't see any issues with quality off the bat (like poor seams, loose threads, or the cat face coming off), but it doesn't feel extremely well made. It took a little less than 2 weeks to arrive, so not super fast but from where it's shipped from that is about what I expect (I honestly wait just as long for shipments from Zara or Etsy sellers, so I don't find waiting a bit a big deal personally). I haven't had any reason to talk to customer service, so I can't really respond to that. I think it's about the same quality you find at Forever 21 or other large stores, no obvious issues yet but there is a sense of you get what you pay for. Hope that helps!
