What's In A Bag?

Kate Spade popcorn bag, Jacey Chae camera purse, Charlotte Olympia perfume clutch
Most of my first sewing projects when I was younger were centered around making my own purses. You know the typical attempts of turning old jeans into shoulder bags and re-using old shirts and sweatshirts into handbags. I liked having something unique that no one else would have and I always thought they looked cool. I still have a penchant for a quirky purse although must days I err towards the practical--there always seems so much that needs to be toted around. And yet I can't quit coveting impractical and adorable purses. All of the above are on my "never really going to buy" wishlist; I'm hoping to find some more reasonably priced alternatives some day...
