After a few blissful months as a sailor scout with blue hair, I'm back to being a redhead. Lately, the maintenance for blue hair (cold showers, ugh) combined with a desire to wear more earth tones made teal less than appealing. Ideally, I will return to being a smurfette, but for now I'm trying to get back into the swing of being a redhead. As I chose the whole "do it yourself" routine this time around it isn't the exact color I desired, but it will do for now. The color change was definitely perfect timing for the onset of October and pumpkin picking with my friends. Even though it's been quite warm in our region activities like this put you in the festive mood for the season. I've never claimed fall as my favorite time of year but I think this will be a good one.
I like the pumpkin-head masquerade :) Did you bring one home? Will you carve it and take pictures? I'm too lazy to be properly festive, so I want to live vicariously through your hypothetical pumpkin-y activities =P
Funny you should mention that the end result was not the one you were aiming at, I did my hair colour myself and the one you're sporting was the one I wanted and did not achieve!!! http://fashionfauxpas-mintjulep.blogspot.com
I loved the teal hair, but you just look in your element as a redhead. I am going back to red myself after being a very dark brunette. It's a process, but being a redhead is just who I am. You look like Fall incarnate! I love the tights.
Two years ago we left our carved pumpkin out on the front porch. Late at night we heard loud thumping outside on the deck. Opening the door, we were face to face with a moose eating the pumpkin! Ah the joys of living in Alaska. :p
Maybe is not the color that you wanted but that is the exact color that I want! What color is it? please tell us how is your diy routine to keep that color *_*
@Pueblerina Rose, shoot me an answer and I'll try to explain my process--it's really several layered colors right now. Also, if you're not starting from the same color (ie a weird blonde-y green) then you won't really get this exact color; the base color does change what the final one looks like. But yeah, too long to explain here and too boring for a blog post--send an e-mail & I'll let you know each product used.
yaaay pumpkins! I'm getting excited to pick ours out soon. I have that hair clip too- but white- and actually, like ten of them. ha. found a bulk deal on ebay. love halloweeny accessories:)
I'm so excited for halloween, and I am definitely going to purchase a couple of pumpkins for me and my housemates to carve! The setting for these photos is perfect for an autumn (fall) post, and I am in love with your tights!!!
I can relate to this post a lot, kind off... I just went from being a red-head to brunette because I thought it was too hard to keep up with the red! I think you look lovely as usual. I liked the blue hair a lot, I hope you go back to it sometime, but this color looks really great too.
I missed this post and read a whole bunch of news ones without realising you'd changed your hair. How unobservant of me! I suppose it's because you went to a previous shade. It looks great though!
