Too Cold For School

There's obviously a difference between clothes I wear and plan to spend time outside in and clothes I wear while scurrying between one door and another. This is the latter. I actually have friends who barely wear coats because they know their work is indoors and their car and home are kept at reasonable temperatures and every in between is fleeting. I wouldn't leave the house in winter without a coat, but lighter tights and impractical footwear…? I suppose the answer is apparent.

I love your coat in this post! Personally, I have a bit of a love affair with coats, and have been known to wear them on inappropriately sunny days! :) Also - great shoes... I'm having some serious outfit envy here!

Dear Rebecca,
I love the dress. I want to ask you, however, what can you say about its quality? I know one usually gets what one pays for, and at 30 dollars this dress sounds too good to be true. It photographs amazingly, but I never want to buy something that looks and feels cheap. Thanks for your input! S

Your dress screams Anna Karina in Alphaville... which also tempts me to buy one for myself :)

@Anonymous, Sheinside quality overall can be hit and miss but this dress is surprisingly good--fully lined and the velvet on the outside doesn't feel cheap. The small runs more like an xs but a little boxy--the sleeves button loose at the wrist, but that's really my only complaint. The lining and thickness of the dress was a pleasant surprise to me. :)

You look so lovely. That is really such a pretty dress. I love those hair clips too, I've seen nothing like them before - very nice!

Lovely heels! <333.

I can totally relate to what you say. I also create outfits depending on how much I'll stay outside or not, although I spend most of my time outside, if I count the 4 hours of travel I have to college everyday ^^;

Also, I'd like to ask, what is your own advice to not mess up red lipstick? ^^. I'm trying to wear red more often but I'm always scared of messing up.
