Weekly Recap

What I wore this week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

I also tried a really colorful manicure inspired by a photo I found on the Internet (the source of most inspiration in this modern day…).
Some of my favorite posts:
-this is officially my dream wedding dress
-the work of Ruth Orkin definitely deserves more attention
-Herschel Supply Co has the best lookbooks
Elsewhere on the web:
-this North Korean documentary on Western propaganda is really interesting
-I've been reading a lot of J. D. Salinger since my sister gave me some books and I this quote gives me so many feelings
-the Karen Walker visible campaign is stunning and poignant

I love JD Salinger! He's one of the things I like to keep private, in my pocket or something; I'm not very possessive but I am about only a select few things, and JD Salinger is one of them. Yeah, I do love JD Salinger.
And your dream wedding dress is very beautiful indeed. Very dreamy and faerie-creatur-like. I think a sort of sea-colour would fit it better.

Your style is just beyond amazing. I love that skirt you wore on Thursday, I think you styled each outfit just wonderfully.

Ooh, that documentary was interesting! I'm still not sure what to make of it but some of the things shown really do make me question what we value here…the whole "manufactured reality"…on another note, that wedding dress is completely brilliant! :)
