Every Leaf A Flower

Half of the time it doesn't feel like fall so bare legs and backless dresses are still an option. Florals feel a little out of place with so many leaves on the ground, but as much as I'm enjoying the season so far I don't want to let it dominate all my choices! Unfortunately, not all day every day is pumpkin patches, apple cider donuts, and collecting acorns.

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower"
-Albert Camus

Super lovely! I wear floral all the time... even in the dead of winter. I can see why it is "right" to wear items that match the season, but why is it "wrong" to wear things that we enjoy? Plus, I think using your spring/summer clothes in the fall and winter is being frugal (I am too cheap to buy a bunch of clothing for each season). Here's to layering!

Have a lovely day!

Loving your post title ties to poetry! You are working this dress. So pretty. I fully support florals all year round.

I know how you feel; it's been warm here, too, so it doesn't quite feel like fall yet. This dress and those shoes are beautiful!

The second to last photograph is stunning. Kudos to your fiance, the whole darkened set is magical (though kudos to you too, as I've been following your blog for a long time and always find the composition of your photos inspiring). Thanks for sharing the Albert Camus quote as well - I haven't heard it before and its going in my favorites.
