I'm likely lounging in the house with my family in a pair of leggings and an oversized sweater right now, but the other day I did glam it up and enjoyed some downtown Christmas decorations. While the season usually calls for deer antlers, I opted for little cat ears which I felt suited my sweet party dress by Dear Creatures. Anyway, I'm keeping posts sparse for the next few days to properly enjoy the holidays and time with my family. I hope you're all having a lovely down time as well filled with good food, good company, and maybe a few surprises under the tree.

I love that dress from Dear Creatures, and those cat ears are the perfect accessory for it. Happy Holidays!

ReplyDeleteWhat camera lens did you use (and with what aperture specification, like 50mm f/1.2, f/1.4, or f/1.8, for example) to take these photos? I love the beautiful lamp-bulbs 'blurriness/bokeh' in your photos?
Thank you in advance, Rebecca.. and Happy New Year to you :)
@Rania I use a 50mm f/1.2, although I will add I think you still have to know how to use your settings to get the best effect. I used the same lens in this post and you can see how different it can be based on settings.

@Rebecca: Thank you so much for answering my question. Yes, I still have to learn much more about the camera's settings and other photography aspects.. That's why your posts about photography tips are some of my favorite posts on your blog ;)
