Outfit: Winter Classic

I've spent several days under the weather and while I'm beginning to feel better, my energy is still low and my mind unfocused. I can never decide what the worst part of being sick is--the pain of the illness itself or the way your mind starts to feel like it's wrapped in cotton wool. Anyway, all that to say, I don't have much to write about today's photographs or outfit--not that there is much to say other days!

Outfit details:
vintage hat
old sweater
Rebecca Minkoff backpack
old mittens

I think your pictures are always lovely, unfortunately whenever you are sick, your comments remind me why it's so hard to live with chronic serious illnesses, and one reason is for everyone else the world stops for a cold or the flu. Imagine living with pain or cotton brain 24/7 for your life.
It might put being sick a few days in perspective.

@Anonymous, I'm very sorry that my post made you feel that way. I never meant to act as if I was greatly suffering from this bout of sickness or any other, but only wanted to explain why my post was short today. I, of course, have no idea how it is to live with a chronic illness and would never intentionally imply that a passing ailment is as bad as something chronic. I can only offer my sympathy for your situation and say I will make an effort in the future to be more sensitive.

I'm glad that you're feeling better and I hope that you're back at feeling your best soon! That Dear Creatures coat is absolutely gorgeous on you. It's been on my wish list for a while, and looking at these pictures makes me want to go ahead and buy it.
