I spent many of my pixie days admiring simple ribbons in ponytails. I just loved the look of instead of a big bow, a more casual knotted ribbon and wishing I had the hair to pull it off. Now I finally do and I'm quite addicted to ribbons, bows, hair clips and all sorts of fun accessories that were on hold when I had the Seberg. It really makes a boring ponytail so much better, don't you think? Right now I'm coveting these velvet bows from With Lavender and Lace; they come in the best colors.

    I'm having such a dilemma lately of whether to keep growing my hair or chop it off. But then I see posts like this and I just want to have long hair and ribbons - so beautiful! (I know this will change tomorrow but right now I'm convinced I'm growing it out.)

    Gorgeous outfit :) I can't wait for my hair to grow out so I can try this bow idea myself! I'm currently just above collar bone length, and I hate it :( but it seems to be growing very fast! so I'm pleased with that part :)

    Your dress is lovely - and it intrigues me. Is that fabric quilted..? And do the beads add a certain "weight" to the dress? I love dresses with a weight to them, it makes spinning quite fun.
