Outfit: Brigadoon Cottage Revisited

Over the weekend we escaped to this picturesque little cottage in the Mourne mountains outside Castlewellan for a relaxing day away. You might remember Brigadoon Cottage from our first visit in July and although the flowers outside are gone, inside is as cozy and welcoming as remembered. The resident cat was even more friendly this time, almost as if he recognized us from our previous visit. Inside, the cottage is divided into three rooms (kitchen, living room, and bedroom) and with a fireplace on either end of the cottage you're never far from a roaring fire on a brisk day. Walking through the front door is like stepping back in time and calls for a brief hiatus from electronics. Phones away and computers half-forgotten, we had a perfect escape for a few fleeting hours...

  1. This cottage is so beautiful, and I definitely agree with you that it's the type of place that takes you back in time and calls for you to put away electronics. Your photos are always so lovely, and that outfit is gorgeous. I really love the butterfly print on your dress.
