We were only in the Costa Brava region of Spain for a few days, so while I'm still sharing pictures from our sun-filled long weekend along the coast, I am well and truly back home in grey Northern Ireland. We packed so much into our time in Spain that the trip ended up feeling like much longer than one weekend--I half expected to come back to Ireland and find it warm and blooming! Spring had arrived in Costa Brava, already the wisteria was in full bloom and the temperatures were mild enough that tights and coats weren't a necessity. Living out of a suitcase always has its limitations, but I do love holiday outfits. Do you think your style changes when you travel? I think mine is pretty consistent, but vacations to warmer climes always call for the most relaxed version of your style. Prim ballet flats were traded for espadrilles, dresses took on a decidedly bohemian feel in warmer, summery tones, and a basket bag seemed more fitting to the scene than my more structured purses. As I said in my last post, as soon as I arrived in Tossa de Mar I felt at ease and completely charmed by the quiet alleyways and scenic beaches. Today's pictures were snapped in some of those cobblestone streets dotted with interesting doors, tropical plants, and terracotta roofs.
Hi! Welcome to my dusty, wee corner of the Internet. What started as a fashion blog has now become a window into the wild and a way to share a moment of calm and quiet.
