If you're looking for books, head to your nearest library. If you're in the mood for slogan sweaters, check out Joanie. (For a combination of the two, still look to Joanie for bookish sweaters and book print dresses.) Cozy sweaters are a bit staple of my style and I recently snagged a few I couldn't resist from Joanie. I went for this one for the slogan, but it's become a repeat favorite of mine for lazy days around the house because it's incredibly soft and warm. This particular style has sold out, but they still have sweatshirts for "avid readers" and Jane Austen fans. Plus, they are the sort of brand that re-releases popular styles so check back if you're coveting this particular sweater. I really do like brands that bring back their popular styles and even re-create them in various colors. I know the trend these days is to create buzz with limited editions and drive sales by telling people they only have so long to get a certain style before it's gone forever, but I prefer a brand that isn't afraid to repeat. Like a classic novel, good taste does not go out of style and if you love a piece or style you can continue to wear it long past what is vogue. read more books-26 read more books-28

  1. Aww, cutest sweater ever - totally applies to me! The library was my favourite place growing up and I still feel so nostalgic every time I think about visiting every weekend with my Dad when I was young. ❤️❤️

  2. Love your hair bow - so vintagey! Also I love how you manage to put together outfits that are stylish and cosy at the same time!!

  3. Hello!
I have a question, currently because I live in Europe I can't buy clothes in Modcloth, where could I buy it?
    Thank you!

    1. Hi Elysian, so none of these clothes are actually from Modcloth--the sweater is from Joanie (a UK shop), the bow is from Urban Outfitters, and the skirt is old but I linked to a similar style at ASOS.
As for buying Modcloth I don't have a special trick. I get things from Modcloth or similar stores that don't ship to Europe by having things shipped to my parents home in the US.
