The temperatures dipped below the 80s and I was so excited to wear my new-to-me vintage coat I just received from my sponsor LAVintage. It's the most fantastic shade of green and has the greatest shape (I'm also pleased with the quality and speediness of delivery). They always make coats in the winter inspired by vintage ones, so it definitely makes sense to just get something that has already stood the test of time.
This coat just reminded me so much of Hitchcock heroines that I ended up wearing more vintage pieces that I have in a long time. Usually when I wear vintage I like to only wear one or two pieces at a time to prevent an outfit from looking too much like a costume, however this time I couldn't really resist. Although, I think with the coat buttoned up I come across more Hitchcock heroine's child than an actual adult...

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to introduce myself! I've been following your blog unofficially for awhile now.
Months ago I saw the horse bag in a boutique in Manhattan and my friend who was with me considered getting it. I didn't realize it was a real bag to be bought, it was so unique!
And then when I saw that you had purchased it, I thought it was perfect!
Kinda late in telling you but...heehee!
