As I mentioned before, this dress is one of my new favorites; an instant classic for my wardrobe. Why exactly? The shape is timeless, the black peter pan collar is a killer detail and the mushroom print silk keeps it all from being predictable. That's how I like my wardrobe: ladylike, but with a touch of whimsy.

Those Mary Janes call to mind a specific designer other than JC, but I can't put my finger on it.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress, too. The pleating detail is so intricate, and the shape of the skirt is so flattering. It creates curves and movement.
And it's so organic a print. Very you.
