I recently received this dress from my sponsor Shop Ruche and it's really so perfect for spring and summer. I always love blue dresses and this one has a sweet lace-up, corset-like detail on the back and pockets (oh yes, I cannot share a new dress and not tell you whether or not there are pockets involved). The fabric also has a nice weight to it, so I look forward to wearing it on warmer, breezy days down by the water. Really, I look forward to warmer days in general and pretty dresses will just be a perk.
Outfit details:
H&M jacket
Target tights
Nice vibrant spring/summer vibe and shape to it, but I know it will layer nicely over shirts as you are so well known to do.
ReplyDeleteI really like it.

Love the bog bold pattern! and of course I understand the love of pockets. I have owned several dresses that didn't have pockets and within the month I always take a seam ripper to them and sew in my own. Why every dress isn't already made with pockets I will NEVER understand.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many time I have tried on a nearly perfect dress only to find it didn't have pockets and after desperately flipping it over to investigate its undersides, find that adding pockets would be impossible, only put it sadly back on the rack.
Lovely dress. I would never have thought to pair it with burgundy tights but it looks great, especially with the contrast of your hair :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a very lovely dress, perfect for spring and summer!
ReplyDeletelove your dress! it's cut, the bold floral designs, and of course it's color. it's really great for spring and summer. and because of that, i just can't wait to also wear a lovely dress in spring!

ReplyDeletewhat a lovely dress!
ReplyDeleteit's still snowing here, but maybe i could get away with one if i paired it with some cute winter accessories :)
Pockets on a dress are selling point for me :) I love that dress, especially with the burgundy tights, I never would have thought to pair those!

Whenever I wear a dress without pockets I constantly put my hands into the pockets that I IMAGINE are there. It just looks like me spastically sliding my hands down my hips haha. When a dress has pockets I think "score, I can actually look sane today."
ReplyDeletePlus walking around with your hands in your pockets looks really cool. At least I think so =)
Love the dress so much. Awesome back and color. It looks amazing against your hair color.
That corset back is to die for. I love features like that mixed with fabrics and prints you don't expect. Corsets backs always seem either high vamp femme or goth/Renaissance Festival to me, and yet...fantastic on a lightweight floral.
ReplyDeletei love the bag in these shots!
ReplyDeletethe cut and print are so you, i just love it!

So cute! I love the combination of the red tights and blue dress, especially since it matches your hair and eyes so well. It's like nature's accessory for that outfit!

This dress really is very pretty. The large pattern works well. Your stockings almost match your hair colour too, which is cool.

ReplyDeleteOh, yes, blue dresses are the best! I have a few myself, but I don't wear them nearly as much as I should. The lace-up details on this one is absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteI came across this dress on Ebay today, and it made me think of you - so I had to share it.

It's a vintage-y, super-adorable yellow and blue short dress with collars. I don't know how you feel about corduroy, but I wanted to share it either way :)
