Sometimes at night I rag curl my hair; those nights are always followed by days of strong winds. I like to imagine fall is blowing itself towards us, but alas this time it was merely a storm brewing. We had thunder and rain at night and then temperatures rising to nearly 100 in the morning once again. I really do enjoy summer, but lately it has been too hot to really do anything that involves movement outdoors...

Your hair looks good like that! And the floppy hat is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about the weather... summer's great, but this heat is a bit much.

The whole summer being too hot thing is really bugging me lately.
ReplyDeleteBut for some reason, this week we were blessed with 76-78F weather with a breeze. A BREEZE! In Michigan?
Unheard of.

you have the most beautiful sense of style
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love summer, the heat can be a little annoying sometimes. Dry hair, sweaty armpits, melting makeup...haha, not exactly very clean-looking. Can't wait for fall to come around and layer up!
ReplyDeleteYou look fab in that hat! Glad you can work it, girl. :)

I love your dress, and I definitely feel your pain about the heat. The only way I've found to combat it is by doing anything I need to get done outside either before the sun comes up or later in the afternoon (however, after doing a photoshoot at 6 yesterday I learned even then it is H-O-T hot!). One of the side effects of living in the south I suppose ;).
ReplyDeleteI adore your shoes! :))

ha, I'll trade you! This non-existent summer in WA is driving me insane. I want heat! And I love summer storms, so I'm a little jealous. It basically feels like mid-September here. I haven't even gone swimming once.
ReplyDeletethat orange-red hat with the shoes & the floral dress are like a burst of summer sun!
