My horse collection is coming along slowly but surely. Right now, it is limited to wardrobe items--no point in gathering figurines when your home changes so frequently, but I'm quite excited every time I see a horse print item in a store. This sweater isn't new, but it's definitely one of my favorites for fall. I'm quite fond of subtle, but pretty color combinations like this mustard yellow with the grey jeans and then a touch of red on my lips. I'm hunting for the perfect berry stain for autumn and winter, but until I find it I'll opt for my old reliable red by Clinque.

ReplyDeletethought of you and your horse-print-collecting ways when i spied these this morning: http://www.refinery29.com/windproof-hair-accessories-for-a-chicago-fall/slideshow
ReplyDeleteoh honey <3 you don't wear much jeans, but when you do...:)
ReplyDeleteI love this look of yours - the horse print, the fab loafers, the skinny jeans... well, everything!
love the top and the shoes! i know your shirt has brown and black in it and so it would make it "okay" to have a black purse. but i personally think you can wear black and brown together all the time! what do you think?
ReplyDeletehttp://darcybot.blogspot.com/
@darcy, yes, definitely. The top is yellow & black, so there's actually no brown there, but I think those rules about mixing brown and black are very silly. Wear what you want--fashion shouldn't have rules.
ReplyDeleteFall Perfection! I would like to own every piece of this outfit. Love it!

ReplyDeleteI love this!!!! It is different to see you in jeans. I know you wrote once you prefer skirts. I love the look though and it is sweet that you get things with horses in them.
ReplyDeleteI love how you're posting more outfits with pants. You pull them off so well, especially without looking boring or bland. Love that horse top!

@Jean, is that rhetorical? as a print, in collectibles: yes. living & breathing, I don't really have any experience with.
