As mentioned last week, I'm supposed to be trying new silhouettes more this year--not because I have to, but because I want to. I don't really feel a need to explore the avante guarde, anything that doesn't feature a full skirt is pretty much outside of my normal. So, I decided to pull out one of my pencil skirts; there was a period in time where I wore these fairly often...

Outfit details:
thrifted skirt
Jeffrey Campbell heeled loafers

ReplyDeleteI know I'm supposed to be focusing on your choice of wearing a pencil skirt...but I STILL can't get over how perfectly you wear that pixie. I hope you keep it awhile longer:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so used to seeing your lovely full skirted silhouette that when you try a new outline, it throws me off. Ah, the comforts of a reader. The outfit is perfect and very becoming on you. I look forward to new undertakings!

ReplyDeleteLove that skirt. Great fabric and length.
ReplyDeleteYou look just as lovely in a pencil skirt as you do in a full skirt! Since the sweater hits around the waist area, it still nips you in and looks flattering in my opinion. :]
