I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to editing my pictures, but I've been meaning to experiment more. Today though Katrina of Pugly Pixel edited a few of my pictures, turning the background black and white and really making my outfit pop. This afternoon we're posting a tutorial on how to edit your own pictures this way, so stay tuned for that. It's rather fun to have a different twist on my pictures. Also, this is the tree on its side that was blooming earlier--the blossoms have all blown away but it's still green and growing. I wonder what it will look like in the fall.

Absolutely gorgeous post!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so lovely with or without color in the background.
i love those black/color photos. not only do they make the colors on the dress pop out, i think it emphasizes the textures of the tree, leaves, etc.

Very cool colour pop pictures, I'm looking forward to finding out how you did it. I'm always amazed by how talented Katrina is xo
ReplyDeleteI love all of the pictures, the effect looks great! :) And even without it, that tree is such a wonderful backdrop and really nice in contrast with the color of your dress.

I love the B&W!
ReplyDeletegorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat photo editing is so striking! And so very effective for a style blog, particularly with such a vivid tangerine dress to begin with. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the black and white touch, your hair and your dress really pop out and look even more gorgeous like that. It's always good to experiment, and I'm a fan of your taste, so I look forward to see how else you'll edit your pics.

What a darling idea for a photo shoot! Love the idea of climbing into a tree. Sensational photos, and your short hair is so cute. Love seeing other girls rocking short hair :)

The B&W photo is really cool but also rather surreal. It almost looks like a giant backdrop you are standing in front of (which still looks quite striking compositionally), but then you realize your standing on the B&W part and becomes so 3-D to me.
ReplyDeleteThe collar with that dress is fun too!
very cool thing for your outfit photos! Can't wait to check out the tutorial, I think I may have an idea of how to do it but better from a pro :)
ReplyDeleteThat dress is such a good colour on you and I love the editing!
