It will be interesting to see if this new season of Mad Men will have some observable influence on my style this summer. Already after re-watching past seasons all I want is to shoot silly super 8 videos and buy more vintage dresses--although I can never really committ to those polished head-to-toe looks. My outfits tend to be fairly together without the matchiness of past decades, but then I need my hair or make-up to be slightly undone. Everything all polished together always feels too much. But anyway: retro shows and their influence on my wardrobe--I'm quite excited to see the changes in this new season, the more "swinging" styles and so on...
kodak just discontinued their one awesome color reversal film for super 8 and it's the saddest thing ever. it'll cost a fortune to shoot and develop anything now:( I'm so upset- it was my favourite hobby , but it's a hella expensive one for a lil freelancer.
I'm a firm believer that a dose of animal print makes any outfit fabulous. This coat is divine! I too, love Mad Men and it's style definitely rubs off on me! I live in retro dresses and also tend to wear them more casually. Great outfit!
You remind me so much of Valerie Curry (The Following). The first time I met her I thought she was you. Beautiful girls, the both of you! http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2038170/
This season has already had some influence on my outfits. I am loving this new season so far. The references to the 60's and the counterculture were one of my favorite parts...I can't wait to see what they do with that...especially style wise!
