My campus is clearing out. Every day seems like a mass exodus and I am reminded how rats will flee a sinking ship. Only the seniors and summer work students remain now. Today I am visited by a friend from out of town, tomorrow it will be family, and soon it will all be over. Still trying to find a body double to do the actual walking at graduation for me…
Outfit details: sweater- H&M, dress- ASOS, sandals-Bakers

Ps: that person above my last comment is v. rude IMO
ReplyDeleteI love love love this outfit and the pics are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love how this outfit is so purply (it's a good thing).
ReplyDeleteThat wall of rocks is one of my favorite settings of yours.
And I was about to ask about that recent hair appointment of yours because I thought that the color looked different. I think it looks quite lovely, especially with the color of your dress in these photos.
F what Nadia says.
That all sounds very exciting. It seems peaceful to have the campus clearing out but maybe a little sad, too? I'm not sure, but I really liked your description of what's going on. Anyway, love the location and your dress/shoes/rings!
ReplyDeleteI love your sandals!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how fast time as gone...It is such a wierd feeling seeing everyone empty their rooms and go back home. This post has definitely reminded me of my own graduation which was 10 mths ago but seems like just yesterday. I feel quite nostalgic now! Wow I didn't realise how much I missed it!
Oh, the dress is wonderful! Quitting a place one has grown accustomed to for quite a long time feels strange, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteYou look great, and I love your hair!
ReplyDeleteGreat pix...love your rocky background.
ReplyDeleteit must be so weird to see everyone leaving... it seems like it must feel kind of lonely. love your sandals!
ReplyDeleteCute sandals and congratulations on the upcoming graduation! The campus sounds nice actually... I like the ghost town feel of places.
ReplyDeletesandals + ring = freaking fantastic. I love them. I am hoping I can flee from my university too, soon. It's killing me.

I love them, I've worn them non stop since I got them.
i love the way you tied blue throughout the whole outfit. What i love about your style is how relatable is. Like most of us you aren't prancing around in 4 inch heels, and you always look adorable.

Gorgeous sandals. *
ReplyDeletewow... is that a ram on your ring? Where is it from?
ReplyDeleteYou look nice and I love the sandals!
ReplyDeleteClose fitting sheaths are very, very complimentary to your frame. I dig that you coordinated your gladz to your outfit, but the studding and grommets and whatnot provide a nice counterpoint to the conservative cut of your dress.
ReplyDeleteThe purple gigantic houndstooth is a nice contrast, too.
I'm always interested when people are brave enough to put closeups of their feet. I fear showing my feet.
PS congratulations on your graduation!
Second commendation to you for graduating in what seems like a normal college career time frame (i.e., 4-5 years rather than my nine)!
@Anna, I got the ring from a street vendor in Athens, Greece. And yes, it is a ram.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on graduating! :)
ReplyDeleteFun sandals. They look great with the dress. Your ram ring is really cool, too.
Those sandals are amazing! I love the color and the studs.
ReplyDeleteawwwwww. i know that feeling except i've got a few weeks to go and still not sure if i'm graduatng or doing a fourth year which is scary! love the shoes :-D

ReplyDeleteI really like that shade of blue. It looks great against your hair too.
ReplyDeleteI love how you've been wearing more dresses lately and that it's still your versatile old self.. these pictures, by the way, are amazing and the studding on your sandals is just perfect ;)
