It had been too long since I had spent a day visiting antique malls. The prices are always exorbitant in those places compared to secondhand shops or estate sales, but it's fun to wander from one cluttered building full of vintage treasures to another similarly crowded edifice. One can also occasionally find the well-priced keepsake worth walking away with.

Wow! My family actually has that door hanger of the 12 Days of Christmas, along with a bunch of other ancient Christmas decorations that I guess would qualify as antiques now!
ReplyDeleteI love antique malls, especially ones found randomly! Everytime i've been to one I feel like i'm stepping inside history for that particular town or city, its the most wonderful feeling!
ReplyDeleteAnd wonderful outfit of course!

I never buy anything in antique stores unless I am really in love with it. However, it is so fun to just browse!
ReplyDeletethat one purse you photographed is beautiful
ReplyDeleteThat bag has got to be one of the cutest things I've ever seen! Antique malls are tricky on the wallet as opposed to 2nd hand shops. I often treat my visits to them as though I'm touring a museum and, should I find something I can't live without, I may buy it.
ReplyDeleteoh I can spot little trasures from my chair in fromt of ny desk. this is a really nice place. it is unfortunate that the prices are not low...
