The days are blurring together in the most marvelous way lately. The confusion comes from a lack of sleep and so many fun activities every single day. I'm having so much fun shooting photographs backstage before the fashion shows that it's making me sad to realize fashion week will be over soon. The only things I am looking forward to are catching up on my sleep and finally having time to edit and sort through my (literally) thousands of pictures. A few have been making it onto my Tumblr, so check that out for updates.
Shooting these pictures on the streets of New York was quite the experience. I've shot in populated areas before, even New York, but the passerby were quite animated on this particular day and gave me lots of commentary (pretty much all positive too). It was sort of funny to interact with strangers while trying to get my outfit pictures. Adding to the atmosphere was the sudden sprinkling of snow. I hardly felt the cold as I laughed with strangers about the ridiculousness of it all and twirled on the sidewalk...of course, I prefer the pictures where I look more serious.

Your hair is cutte, your shoes too!

That dress is really something else. I think this is the most risque in the front I've seen, in terms of cut. It's still very you, but this is a bit more edgy, a bit more outside the box.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how much fun you had twirling about!

You're so cute! I love the way the lace body suit looks layered under that dress. I'll have to get one and experiment with that =)
ReplyDeleteThe peep of the lace bodysuit looks interesting & oh-so-pretty! Love your tights too!! Glad to know you are having fun! :)
ReplyDeleteLoving living fashion week vicariously through all of you Tumblrs fashion week coverage. Although there is a tinge of jealously I am not there I am not jealous of the cold grey weather as it is 50 degrees and sunny here at the moment.
ReplyDeleteBTW, your backstage photo-videos are superb!
On another note, I have been meaning to send you an email for months about this artist named Sophie Whettnall that I met at an exhibit and thought you would like. "Over the sea" is my particular fav and I thought you would appreciate it too. She even presented "Waterfall" on a projected wall with glitter smeared over parts of the snow - it was amazing.
Wow that was a long comment!
My goodness, that last photo with the snow falling is amazing. Hope you are having way too much fun at NYFW. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the photo of you looking over your shoulder. I like all the texture in this outfit.

Love this complete look, from the shoes, tights, tops, dress and coat, very nice! It does look like your having fun, sweet!
ReplyDeleteNice layering with that dress! Those tights look really neat, too. There was this one old lady that pointed out that what I was wearing was for spring and not for winter. I guess what she didn't realize was that I was heavily layered! We can wear dresses during winter too.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing ! :)
