Like most people, I'm quite ready to wake up and have it be summer...we can even skip spring if necessary. The beach is always lovely, but it's somewhat less enjoyable when the wind is beating against your face and your hands are turning into icicles because you left your gloves at home. I'm excited for warmer days when I can linger longer by the water perhaps with a book in my hand and my headphones on. Now, it's really only suitable for a brisk walk.

Another great outfit! That is so cool what you did with the moving waves in that last picture! How did you do that!?

I rather love spring... the 60s, cool breezes, blooming flowers. It's the same electric snap of the air that pulses in the atmosphere in the autumn. Summers here are miserable, I would by pass the misery of heat and humidity, if it could be eternal spring and fall. Scarves, stockings, cute dresses in gauzy textures. You get my point, I assume.
ReplyDeleteConsidering my abhorrence for heat and humidity, it's strange I'm about to move to the land of eternal summer (Hawaii) next year. At least it's not Florida.
Go fig.

I am missing the beach and summer at the moment, I have to say. I love how your posts are often by the water, they always are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh though at your hilariously awesome scarf with the speedo-sporting body builder man print? So quirky yet fantastic

LOVE the scarf! Adorable outfit altogether. I honestly would like to just get to Spring, skip summer, then go straight to fall :) Summer gets unbearably hot here...but I'm sure I'd feel differently if I had a beach to go to.
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit...there's just so many fantastic details. :)

ReplyDeleteyou got that right! i would never dare consider hitting up the beach anywhere in the sf bay at this point (closest beach to me) unless i want to get transformed into an iceberg! cute scarf btw, very unique print.
ReplyDeleteLucky you, I wished I lived by the water

ReplyDeleteOh ! you're adorable !
ReplyDeleteIt's pictures like these that make me jealous you live so close to the beach! I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and while that's only an hour away now, here in New Orleans, it's still an hour away! I kind of miss being able to just go down to the beach sometimes...
ReplyDeleteGoodness do I ever miss the beach/ocean. It's been far too long! Lovely images..creating a sense of longing in me!
