This peach swiss dot dress is one of my favorite vintage finds. I can still remember finding it at a cavernous antique store in Pennsylvania while shopping with my father (my father enjoys shopping much more than my mother!). The man who sold it to me was rather convinced that it would be too short for me to wear and pointed out how the hem could be let down a few inches...I never altered the hem.
Very cute dress! I love things that can be worn so many ways :)

Is that first photo you as well? I honestly can't tell. If so, I'd love to see some more pictures in this style. The dress is lovely :)
ReplyDeleterebecca i really can't decide what pic of you is my fave.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely not too short... I love how the colour looks different in different light!
ReplyDeleteHehehe...love that the fellow was so convinced you needed a longer hem! This is a great length. Too short for me mind...when you have to pick up a toddler on a regular basis you start to appreciate longer hem lengths. But yes, LOVELY. I especially love the last photo. I can just feel the warmth of the summer day (if it is indeed summer...if not I don't need to know).

@Alannarama, yep that is me in the first pic. I took that in my dorm room using a bedsheet. It was fun, but I prefer outdoor pics, it's hard for me to work in such a narrow space. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that first yellow dress. And a wonderful set up for a dorm room!
