They Sicken Of Calm, Who Know The Storm

Spring has been very warm, but quite storm-ridden. Some days it's perfectly clear, then with a clap of thunder a sudden downpour starts from seemingly nowhere. Other days, storm clouds like these hover above threateningly. The wind did blow, but no rain came until late in the evening. I rather love moody, overcast days, especially when it's still warm. The beach is much more interesting watch on days when the winds are shifting and the clouds are stirring.

  10. What an adorable dress! My best friend is like that too. Cloudy, overcast days are his fave. He gets so much more done and is in such a better mood when it is all dark and gray.

  13. Your bright summer dress and sunny smile create a wonderful juxtaposition against the gloomy background (which I also love btw). I think only you can accomplish something like that! (:

  16. Hi Rebecca I simply love that dress!! Two questions 1. Where can i find a dress like it(I tried Modcloth but no luck)? 2. Do you think these shoes would go well with the dress or are they too much?

  17. @Anonymous, I definitely think keds could work with it, tho personally red keds on a red dress would be too much for me. I don't know about other similar styles...also, I'm in Spain right now, so I'm quite busy! It might be a couple of weeks, but I can leave a comment here (or you can e-mail me) & I'll send you ideas when I find similar options.

  22. Ah I just discovered your blog, and I love it! I've been drooling over this dress since I saw it on Modcloth a few months ago--it looks amazing. I'm thinking about buying it but am wondering about the sizing... does it run large/small, and do you think it's worth the price?

  23. @Anonymous, it's a lovely dress. The fabric is very thick & the stitching is excellent. It runs large; I actually had to tailor it to fit me. (I bought the 0; I'm about a 32" bust, 24" waist, & 5'1") Hope this helps you decide if you want it!
