Once A Vision From The Woods

It's actually been a couple of years since I've seen such gorgeous fall foliage. In Washington it rained so much that almost everything stayed green and most of the trees in near my home weren't deciduous. Then last fall we lived near the beach and while we certainly experience the chill of fall weather with wind and snow, the land was flat and once again colorful greenery was sparse. Now, driving down quiet roads while the trees seem to flame around me is a quiet pleasure.

What lovely pictures! Being a Colorado native, I often take for granted our seasons and gorgeous mountains. It really makes you appreciate things when seeing them through the eyes of others. Lovely look as well! This leather skirt is perfect on you!

Damn. Perfect.

Did you have to get out of the way of any cars while you were shooting? haha just curious. Like kids playing street hockey and one of them yells "car!"

@Francine, not really; I choose roads that people don't drive down. I don't live in a highly populated area.

That skirt is lovely!
When I think of leather skirts I always think about them in black, but brown is such a unique color that's earthy and perfect for fall weather. Great post and visuals :)

It seems so interesting to move from place to place all the time! There's always something new. Do you like it, or would you rather settle somewhere?

Rebecca, The Clothes Horse said...

@kittenhood, I like it, but I think it's because it's all I've ever known. I've never lived anywhere longer than three years, so after only a year and a half somewhere I start to get stir crazy. I think I could settle down if I could frequently travel...which might mean I wasn't "settled." :)
