Not much to say today; some days I feel quite empty of stories. If you write a blog post every day for more than four years (usually two posts a day), then there will be times when the well of words has run dry. There are only too many times that you may share your affection for sunsets and empty fields and spring weather and silly dresses before you feel redundant.

Hi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteThough I know what you mean, I can't help feeling that the narrative doesn't always have to relate to the outfit or the setting. Personal anecdotes make wonderful accompaniments. And after 4 years I, and I'm sure many others, would love to know a little more about who you are...
Your blog is great, and I look forward to following it for another 4 years (at least!)

Absolutely love the colour combination of that cardigan and dress, especially against your hair. Rather wish mustard/yellow was a colour group I could rock.
ReplyDeleteYou're not redundant, your blog is incredibly inspiring! I happened upon it quite by accident but have been following it for the past year or so. You have amazing style and are a wonderful photographer!
ReplyDeleteLove from England :)

rebecca, your father is good photographer! these photos feel like a dream. :) pretty outfit too. gosh sometimes the photos speak for themselves, don't ya think?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely print on that dress. And I agree with Vicky, above - I don't think the text necessarily has to relate to the photos :)

ReplyDeleteThis dress is fabulous and beautiful. I like your dress and purse so much. This dress is perfect suits for you.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. Sometimes I spend far too long pondering over the title of a post or spend forever conjuring up words to match my photos.
ReplyDeleteYou look really lovely and these photos are gorgeous as ever! It's the first time I've noticed your dad mentioned as the one taking your photos! How lovely.
Your bag is amazing, I love that !!

Trip in my dressing
I'm a lover of dresses, just like you. All yours are adorable, I wish I had them. Greetings from Poland.
ReplyDeleteAwww that bag...!
ReplyDeleteYou could talk about other things? I know this blog represents a small side of you (thinking of the radio interview with your sister) but I also know you need to keep it pretty general here for mass readership. Hmm. Well I guess that's that. Really like that dress with the big bow front, love Emily's similar one too (ruby slipper journeys) and pleased to see my favourite cardigan crop up again :)
ReplyDeleteYour dress is lovely! I'd love to have a pretty blue dress like that for the summer. I really like the olive and mustard cardigan you wore with it. The color pairing is really unique.
ReplyDeleteYou're a really beautiful person, Rebecca
