Some days it feels as if we skipped past spring and fell into summer's arms. But the humidity isn't as oppressive it will become and the trees are only beginning to bloom. How fun it is to cross a field and notice new tiny buds among the green patches of clover and grass. I'm eager to shed my layers, but it's early yet--spring is a fickle creature.

I'm envious that you get to wear Summer dresses in early Spring! I love this look, especially that dress!
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes! And envious of your warm weather (it snowed in Seattle this a.m. and I wore a fur vest yesterday, sigh). Happy Monday!

spring is elusive; just when we think she is within our grasp, ready to return our lusty embrace, she snaps back into some unseen internal crevice, leaving us shivering in despair.

You might have to do a post of all your gorgeous Seychelles shoes (yip, just for this one reader!). I remember you once saying that you steer away from obvious combinatons like red, blue and white - so I think this is a beautiful palette x
ReplyDeleteSomehow it feels a lot warmer than it should be for this time of year. I am soo happy, each day I go out into my garden and something new has grown....spring has truely got it's claws in....

I love the colour combo you have going on here. The teal plus the pink of the shoes is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love these, well, all of your photographs, but for these photos, did you use a hotshoe flash (Big flash mounted on the camera) fill flash (The one that pops up on the camera) or a diffuser/reflector? It's nice lighting! :D

@MJ, thank you! I never use any flash or a diffuser; I just shoot at sunset, so the light's really pretty then. Also my camera lens (50mm) makes a huge difference. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely lovely in teal. It does feel like summer has already arrived! I like your description of falling into summer's arms. So poetic!
ReplyDeletePretty color on you.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are beautiful! The teal with the pink shoes is brilliant!
