After admiring this dress in Wren's spring lookbook I decided that I needed it. Unfortunately, it wasn't listed in their shop and was sold out everywhere else I looked online. After quite a bit of digging, tweeting, and e-mails to various shops I secured one for myself (it has since become restocked at one store that I know of). I only took one Astronomy class back as a senior in high school so my actual knowledge of constellations, nebulas, and such is limited, but I do have great affection for the night sky. I think space-themed clothes are next on my list of garments to collect.

such a fun dress! we're on an old space movies marathon and just watched Dark Star...I love the night sky splattered across clothing- but what if they came out with dresses that looked like 70's spaceship switchboards!? I'd be so in.

Un beso.
Ahhh!! This looks so gorgeous on you!!
ReplyDeleteSo I am pretty glad it is sold out. At that price, at least! Wow, is it ever awesome. And wow, why is it so very hard to find celestial prints? I'd even buy the fabric and MAKE myself a dress. But I can't find it anywhere! Is there some sort of conspiracy going on? gorgeous, though. The night sky in the daylight forest is a lovely look!
ReplyDelete@Kimberellie, I've been thinking of printing my own space fabrics on spoonflower & making my own clothes!
ReplyDeleteThis dress really is super awesome! What a fun print. I quite enjoy the buttons down the back of the dress too.
