This field lies on the other side of a fence, which bears strict instructions to not feed or touch the horses. So, while I often pass by here, I don't normally linger and never crossed the barrier before. However, between the lovely yellow flowers that sprang up overnight and my mother's encouragement I finally trespassed. I still avoided the horses and fled the scene quickly, but I think it was worth the minor offense. My friend Jon said it looked like "the sun had burrowed into the ground to be stored from winter and then bloomed with spring." I quite agree.

how picturesque! I love the dress. Free people is my favorite store and it even has a vintage feel to it. I like how you paired it with the leather jacket too. It's really cute! So jealous of the field and horses it looks like a lovely place for a picnic :)

I'm so in love with this entire outfit, it's not even fair. <3
ReplyDeletetotally worth the trespass. The first photo is especially thrilling. VERY lovely. Also, I am beginning to be suspicious of "your friend John". Happily suspicious, but suspicious. Or maybe I am just helplessly romantic? Either way, what a lovely description about the field. Maybe he has some other great lines? ;-)
ReplyDeleteps. THE DRESS! ah, but too expensive for me. lovely. lovely.
@Kimberellie, ah yes I hate the price of this dress! I wanted to wait until it was on sale at least, but after having it on my wishlist for a month I couldn't resist any longer. Definitely blew my budget for this month though.
ReplyDelete& um, he's very good with words. But we're just friends. :)
Such beautiful scenery choice to shoot this outfit in.
