This is my first official outfit post from Pennsylvania and rather appropriately the photos were taken by one of my roommates and on the roof of the house I live in now. When I was younger I wanted a rooftop I could climb out on to during hot evenings; to read a bit perhaps in the breeze, or just lay on my back and stare at the stars separated from the world passing below. I don't actually think I'll spend much time out here, but it was nice to briefly realize that teenage dream of mine.

Awesome look! These photos have a dreamy quality to them. I've always wanted to have a roof that I could sit on...which is a little bit strange, considering that I'm terrified of heights. I had a friend who had a flat roof, and we were able to sit on it to watch fireworks years ago...I still miss that!

I love these photos. Really nothing like a relaxing sit on the roof!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the move!
I would love to have a rooftop like that to climb on! :) Although I'm not sure I would use it a lot either, but at least now I'm still wishing for one.

I love this outfit! The print on the dress is amazing, and I love those saddle shoes. I wish that they weren't out of stock! Also, I have always wanted a rooftop that I could climb out onto! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteEek, I'd be scared to sit on a sloped roof!
ReplyDeleteI have a flat roof that I can access from the bedroom above but I would never want to get onto a sloped one. Scary stuff!

What a lovely dream. I have a similar rooftop spot, but it's too steep for stargazing, unfortunately! These photographs are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see your already enjoying your time in PA :) The only window in my room leads to a tiny level of a sloped roof. I have chilled there a few times, but have yet to snap pics. This is a definite inspiration :)

Cute outfit Rebecca!! Just curious where did you get your saddle shoes? Oh you might want to wear socks or tights with them at first. My pair really blistered my heel until I had them broken in properly.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous, they're linked--the shoes are from Modcloth. And thanks for the tip. I didn't do much walking in them yet, but I'll definietly wear socks next time.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the move!!
ReplyDeleteI guess most little girls dreamt of having a cozy rooftop to just chill in. Hehe. These are nice photos, and the post-process is nicely done. Rooftops are great photoshoot locations, as you can take advantage of the natural daylight and splendid views in this area.
