The Whole World Is My Native Land

My obsession with maps is well documented, so when I spied this map print tee more within my budget than Carven's Resort dresses, I couldn't resist. It seemed fitting to photograph the map print on train tracks which always imply the possibility of travel and connectivity to places once distant. I don't know why I really like maps (and globes) so much, maybe it just relates to how much I enjoy traveling and my own lacking sense of a "home." Being asked where your from is always a difficult question when you grew up moving three years and the location of your parents is still constantly changing. While there's a definite benefit to having a connection to a specific geographic area and a sense of roots, I don't feel as if I'm suffering.
