This week has been hectic and today I'm off to be a bridesmaid in a college friend's wedding. It's wild to think about where I was a few years ago when we met in class and quickly bonded over speed scrabble tournaments, weekends out dancing, and the sharing of terrible (awesome) food. I was there the night she met her fiance (it's kind of a funny story...) and then when she came back to the dorms tipsy after one of their dates. Now this weekend I'll stand alongside a number of other lovely ladies who have been a small part of her life as we watch her head off into a new chapter. Oh weddings are strange business, but I'm looking forward to a last few laughs and a night of dancing until my feet hurt, and then hopefully a quiet weekend of recovery...

those flats are so cute! too bad I can't buy it! any idea what the brand is?

ReplyDeleteI've only been in weddings of people I am related to, oddly enough. I can imagine it might be strange to be in one for a good friend. that said, I hope you have a marvelous time!
