Sometimes I forget it's not summer...and then the weather gently reminds me with rain showers or cooler temperatures. But it's easy to get confused when I walk in the woods and it smells strongly of honeysuckles and I start having flashbacks to childhood during my sisters' softball or soccer games that seemed to carry on without end and I'd get bored of the book I brought and wander away from the field to whatever patch of wilderness I could find and lick honeysuckle nectar from the petals. I was never much of an outdoors-y girl, getting tired on family hikes before we reached a halfway point and panicking anytime a spider crossed my path, but there are certain elements of the outdoors I'll always enjoy and places I'll desire to linger...

Welcome to my little blog that blends a bit of nature, fashion, wanderings, and books in this dusty corner of the Internet. I hope you find it a moment of quiet in the wild today.

What a unique and pretty print on your dress.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is so fun! Makes you look like you are a kooky contemporary artist who just left the studio to get a bit of fresh air and have a smoke (or perhaps a candy cig? :)
ReplyDeleteSpring always trips me out too. I just imagine an infinite summer as soon as it starts to get warm. :)
