When A Fox Preaches, Take Care Of Your Geese

Always a sucker for a good animal hat (my grey ear-ed hat gets so much wear in winter although there's still debate as to whether it represents a mouse or bear), I couldn't resist this new fox one when I spied it earlier this summer--my hair was still blue when I ordered it. In spite of the cute factor it is quite sensible as it keeps my head nicely toasty in the Northern Irish forests I'm exploring with Thomas. The forests remind me of Washington State a bit; a lovely moss carpet beneath your feet and inching up trees, a few ferns unfurling here and there, and sunlight beaming gently through the lush growth. Even in spring the forests in Pennsylvania never looks like this.

Outfit details:
Knitwear hat
Zara coat
H&M skirt
ASOS socks

Not to steal the spotlight off of the hat but Thomas's photos are incredible! I love how beautiful everything looks!

Wow, you can make even an animal hat look classy. I've been thinking about getting one but I was worried it would look too silly and I'm wearing simpler styles lately. But it looks great paired with grown up clothes.
