Lately, I'm most comfortable in layers of neutral clothes. It was one of the main reasons I dyed my hair back to red after being blue this summer--the more natural colors I tend to gravitate towards in fall and winter. I wanted to wear olive green and a sandy brown without my hair clashing against it all. It's not that I stop wanting to wear color in the fall and winter, but I do feel less drawn to bright reds and blues in these grey-er seasons. I mean, nearly all the colors I'm wearing today can be found in the weeds of the field around me.

You can't make this post and not tell us where to get those mittens of adorableness!
ReplyDeleteThe olive green and neutral tones do look SO pretty with your hair here! This is one of my recent favorite outfits of your and the second shot with the gloves is amazing! Hope you're having a wonderful start to the new year!

A really lovely dress. Sometimes I have a similar dilemma with my hair being blue, I often want to wear colours (normally blue) and I'm a little off put by my hair. At the same time I love the little pop of colour that comes with my hair at this time of the year - I quoted to someone once 'it's like having summer on my head everyday' (sometimes I say stupid stuff...)

What I would give to escape the city and find myself in such beautiful surroundings. Your pictures are always so stunning!

You have like a very fashionable vintage type of look. It's really cool to see your outfits of the day.

@Megan, sorry I usually remember to list them, but it's hard when there's no link. They're from Urban Outfitters but I bought them around 3 years ago, so they're no longer available.
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is adorable. It makes me wish I had more use for hats and cute gloves.
