I think of today's look as a modern Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood muse; you have the rich jewel tones in a suitably moody atmosphere and a romantic flower crown and with flowing (messy) hair reminiscent of medievalism. As I said in yesterday's beauty post, with my longer hair I feel as if I'm getting back to my art inspired roots. While some day I might want to attempt a literal visual mimic of Miranda and the Tempest, most days I want to take that Waterhouse inspiration and interpret in a modern way. Like the Brotherhood itself, the point is not to repeat the past but to draw from it.

Welcome to my little blog that blends a bit of nature, fashion, wanderings, and books in this dusty corner of the Internet. I hope you find it a moment of quiet in the wild today.

I love your outfit and flower crown,it's beautiful! xx
