I somehow resisted the coordinate trend all summer only to fall for it now months after the trend peaked. This retro skirt suit reminds me of vintage flight attendants which is always a good association--they always look so glamorous in old photographs. And I'm quite happy I can take a few style notes from the past without having to adopt other values from the past!

Sweet Spontaneity
this is so cute , very 60's. I'm a bad one for jumping on style bandwagons late - I only stared wearing knee high socks a few months ago

You are always so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteAren't you the cutest dollybird! Actually, that's not accurate - you're more Paris than London - but this is such a cute look that words like "dolly" and "bird" just seem appropriate anyway. I love the orange color as well, an the sweet beret. You are always such a font of inspiration.

How is it possible that it seems like every single colour looks so good on you? I love that yellow jacket - it's absolutely the perfect pop of colour without being too much.

Where were these pictures taken? The location is wonderfully Parisian and picturesque.

ReplyDeleteI love the contrast of the retro coat with the more modern boots! Perfect. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe coat is the perfect colour to add a little brightness to a drab day! So jealous of you and your endless colour working skills ;)

At first, I wasn't too sure about "mellow yellow" ... yet I keep coming back to it! It's compelling, attractive, and nostalgic, all at the same time, and looks wonderful on you, my dear friend :)
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness!! I love this outfit to death!! I've been looking for a suit set just like this forever. I'm in love with these looks, but have such a hard time finding vintage sets that don't fit in a very boxy weird way! weee! I love it!!
