Valentino Red interpreted grunge style in the most ladylike way imaginable. It's almost a stretch to see the inspiration, but the buffalo plaid and loose cardigans are a perfect counterpoint to the collection's more sweet pieces and co-ordinated sets. It all ends up looking very granny-chic; like a young girl who raided her grandmother's closet or attic and is mixing everything up in an eclectic and youthful fashion. More here.
