Outfit: Waterhouse

Remember this dress from the middle of winter? I froze my butt off to wear it then in a faux leather jacket and tights and boots--I really needed a full winter coat that day, but the dress doesn't work with my coats and I was too excited to wear it to wait for spring. Still despite that brief wear this piece remained at the front of my mind for things I wanted to wear this spring. I'm usually all about mini dresses, but I think this might just be the year when more longer lengths are in high rotation in my wardrobe. I love the feel of this dress when I'm wearing it; the silky lining against my legs nearly down to my ankles, the way it moves as I walk--it's so lovely! And even if I did slip and fall on my bum on these wet rocks it was worth it for a few Pre-Raphaelite-esque photographs. I think the work of John William Waterhouse best illustrates my ideal imagery.

Ever since Thomas came into your life and he's been taking your pictures, the aesthetics of your blog seems to have gone up a scale. His shots are always so gorgeous and you as a model always look so natural. I'm so glad you two have met and learnt to love each other. Looking forward to more your posts in the future! ;)
