As you might be able to tell from the stone-y background and picturesque arches, this is an outfit I wore for an evening out on our honeymoon in Matera, Italy. Since the reports all called for warm, sunny weather during our stay I packed mostly lightweight dresses in soft colors (white, tan, pink), two pairs of sandals, and a light jacket for layering at night. In retrospect I wish I had packed something for a hike down the ravine beside the city, but was mostly happy with what I chose to bring. The light colors were handy in the sun, but I did bring this sassy little dress along for a night out with Thomas.
