Outfit: Skedaddle

I've been taking the old Montana Skedaddle (my bicycle) out for more evening rides. It's sort of funny, I never really missed not having or riding a bicycle for all of the years I didn't have one--which was many! But now that I do have a bicycle, I ride it fairly often; several times a week since the weather has been so nice. I try to go a little farther each time and am usually rewarded with some new, quiet green space to appreciate.

  1. I got a bike for my college graduation and I don't ride it nearly enough (that has something to do with spending hours at play practice each night). But, whenever I do ride, it's the best part of my day.

    Also, I love your nails!

  6. Hi Rebecca,

You look quintessential, beautiful and cheerful in this outfit (: (as you always do)

I was wondering...how do you decide when to buy an article of clothing? As in there are so many clothes one can buy...maybe a better way to put it is: When you go shopping what are the factors you consider when buying a particular dress etc.,? How do you not overspend and how do you know if that piece is THE ONE ♡♡♡ ?

  7. @Anonymous, Well budget for me is simple; it's just my income minus my set expenses (rent, utility bills, food, etc)=my disposable income. Whatever amount that is each month (and it fluctuates b/c bills change and freelance income is inconsistent), I can spend how I like. I have no interest in being in debt, so I never go over that month--sometimes it means you have to save for awhile to get a piece you want.
As for picking pieces I *try* to always picture a new piece with everything I have at home. Do I have shoes and a purse to match? Can I build 3 different outfits with this one new piece? I like knowing I can style a new piece multiple ways--I want pieces I will wear a lot. Of course, now as a blogger I am sometimes sent pieces which I like, but don't necessarily fit my rule of being able to wear at least 3 different ways.
    Hope that helps!
