This skeleton sweater is perfect combination of cozy and theme-appropriate for Halloween week; I got mine last year but it's still in stores if you're interested in your own. Although it may seem a bit kitsch at first there are loads of ways to wear this sweater; for this post I styled three different looks. The first look is my version of "sporty chic" which is probably the most outside of my wheelhouse, but I just got these sweet sneakers and they're so comfy I might be tempted to wear this sort of look more often. The second is inspired by the evil schoolgirls in the Craft; it's a little bit Wednesday Addams, a little bit 90s grunge, and how I'd wear this sweater most days. The last style is a bit more classic for if you only want to give a subtle nod to the Halloween season.

Perfect touch of Halloween spirit for a late October outfit! I'm especially loving the contrast between bright hues and black/white your outfits create.

I love the first and last looks. I've been trying to master the "sporty chic" look for the past few months, but I don't think I have the right shoes. You've really nailed it though, those sneakers are awesome and your ponytail is so playful. & I love the coat in the last look! Would you happen to know where I could find one like that?
ReplyDeleteTHAT FIRST LOOK DOE. <3 gah, i can't wait to see more of those sneakers! i love them on you!
ReplyDeleteI'm always in awe of your photography, especially when you take them yourself! Awesome. I've never thought to wear a skeleton jumper, thinking them close to a costume. HOWEVER, you've made this look chic and now I'm thinking twice! <3
