Black Cat Collar Crossing

Do you remember this outfit from last autumn? I wore it so many times last year--I even wore it pumpkin picking then as well, but this year I added a new black cat collar from Magnus Clothing Company! It's funny how one small detail can make an outfit feel fresh again. As much as I love pulling out my autumn clothes from storage to wear, sometimes they can feel a bit stale if I wear them exactly the same as I did in previous years. That's one of the great things about Magnus Clothing's removable collars, they can help make older clothes feel fresh again and inspire new remixes. I got a wee package of collars from Magnus recently and it's been fun looking at my closet with fresh eyes, wondering what could be livened up with a cute collar. Sweaters are a classic choice for adding a removable collar to (you get the look of a layered outfit without the bulk), but I've also been thinking about adding a collar to some of my vintage and swing dresses. How cute would this collar look peeking out of a plaid dress? I don't have any other black collars in my wardrobe, so this collar is a really fun addition--the fact that it has a cute cat face on it just makes it that much sweeter. It's a fitting look for the start of October as well and we've already paid a visit to our local pumpkin patch too! The patch isn't even open until later this month, but since Thomas is friends with the farmer he goes early to snag the biggest pumpkins he can find. I chose a cute little pumpkin for myself; it might be a bit small to carve but it'll look very sweet on our front porch. Now if only I could find some corn stalks and hay bales to decorate our front step with... patchpick-23 patchpick-37
