New Cottagecore Filter Pack

I started work on this filter pack last summer, but it took me until this spring to get the filters exactly how I wanted them! The Cottagecore Filter Pack is inspired by everything cottagecore--it's light and airy, each preset designed to give your photographs a soft, almost ethereal glow. The pack features seven unique filters with a mix of warmer and cooler toned filters for different situations, but overall all of them are soft, pastel, and gentle. My filters are designed to work in Lightroom desktop or Lightroom mobile; you can purchase them in my shop and choose which version will suit your primary way of editing. The mobile version is also compatible with the free version of Lightroom mobile and all filter packs come with step by step instructions on how to install them on your devices making installation super easy! What I love about this pack specifically is that they give your photographs a more painterly feeling. I've been using this pack to edit my photographs for the last couple of months and I've been trying to mention the filter I used at the end of many of my IG posts and blog posts as well to show you them in action. I'll demonstrate more of them in the future, but here's a look at three of my favorite and most-used filters from the Cottagecore Filter Pack. Pearl Filter: When designing filters there's this tendency to make the filters very strong so you can see the difference in the before and after when editing. However sometimes the nicest filters aren't the most extreme and I think this is the case with the Pearl filter. It's soft and warm-toned, but not intensely so. Like a pearl it gives your photographs a soft, almost luminescent glow. I use it quite often as it works in a variety of situation and settings. It's slightly warm-toned, but not overly warm and just so lovely!   Amber Filter: A strong warm-toned filter is always a must in my editing pack because I do a number of photoshoots in overcast and cloudy conditions, or later in the evening past golden hour when the light is very blue. When you shoot in these sorts of settings you need to warm up your photographs quite a bit to get them closer to what the actual colors of the day were; the camera isn't as clever as our eyes in processing light so when you shoot in cloudy conditions the photographs can come out very dull and blue-toned even if what you were shooting was vivid and pink! Amber is a perfect preset to warm up those duller photographs, it's very warm and bright so it adds a bit of punch and turns late evening blue photographs into golden hour moments.  Amethyst Filter: As much as I love warm toned filters for myself, I also love highlighting nature so cooler toned filters are a must when shooting blue and purple flowers or helping green to pop. Amethyst is one of my favorites, it's cool so flowers come out vivid, but not so cool-toned that I end up looking like a ghost! There's also a lot of rich pinkiness in this filter too that gives everything a lovely, romantic bloom. I think romantic is the perfect word to describe this whole pack really!
