Here Comes A Feeling You Had Forgotten

Lately I've been deviating from my usual path. I'm taking new paths through the woods and pushing just a little bit further to see what is around the bend. Sometimes there is a wide open field, or moss-covered woods and occasionally a more unusual surprise: a mock village for military drills or an abandoned, roofless building...

Outfit details: jacket and dress- H&M, belt- vintage, shoes- Seychelles, tote- Hayden and Harnett via Weardrobe Conference, necklace- Modcloth

Good for you. :) It's fascinating what can be found just around the corner, or just a stretch farther than what we're used to traversing.

  36. Love that dress! Probably because I bought a super-similar one at Pinky Otto a few weeks ago... I hate it when I finally decide to splurge on something new, and then H&M has a cheaper version of it! Sniff!

  37. Is the title of your post a reference to Horchata by Vampire Weekend?

If it is, I have been so in love with this song for the past month or so. I can't help but want to get up and dance every time I hear it. :)

It also reminds me of this ghost town my family used to visit in Colorado when I was a kid -- Carribou! I think it was an abandoned mining town, but we liked to go there (okay - maybe we only went once, but I remember it so well!) and explore the empty structures. So much fun.
