In honor of the new year and memory of the old, I thought I'd do one picture/outfit from every month this year...this proved to be far easier in conception than reality. When you have such a keen record of the days it is hard to pick favorites. I tend to not compare outfits or even stylings of specific pieces; how can you really rank such things and say one is better than the other?
Regardless of my qualms, I ultimately did prepare such a succinct post, but I limited myself to two or three images per month. So, here's a little flashback for you all...it has been a busy year, no?

January

February

March

April

May

June

I am finally starting to style blog but I've been stalking your site in my reader for a few weeks. Your style is so effortless but still put together. I've definitely drawn inspiration from more than one of your posts. Keep 'em coming, I can't wait to read even more!
ReplyDeleteI love how fun & independent your style is, it's really inspirational. You're so pretty! And I love your blog, adding you to my links ASAP :).
ReplyDeleteI think these are so lovely! You're just so talented. To Anon @ 9.22 -- uh, this is an outfit blog. Pictures of her are kind of the point. And, well, I'm just so tired of that "vanity" argument. EVERYTHING EVERYONE DOES is on some level vain, self-serving and out of a gross need to compensate. The smallest amount of introspection does indeed reveal this to be true...
ReplyDeleteUgh, haters are terrible.
But good cheer to you, Clothes Horse!
xx
So many pretty dresses! Happy New Year, living doll!
ReplyDeletebeautiful. lovely work.

ReplyDeleteWith every month I found myself thinking "Oh now that's gotta be my fave" Lol.
ReplyDeleteI love the juxtaposition of your puppy & the stuffed pony in January.
The photo of you on the grass in May is such a treat.
The yellow flowers around you in June frame that shot so perfectly.
Your first dress in October is one of my favourites on you.
But the autumn leaves photo in December takes the cake. It's perfect & so is your blog.
Thank you for sharing yourself with the world Rebecca xx

I've always found your aesthetic, your photography and your love for arts, literature and nature to be an endless source of inspiration.
So now I've said so.
Much love,
Sar
